Pizza dough is made just like bread dough and it needs to rise. This dough can be used 30 minutes after making.

Ingredients:
1 cup warm water
1 pckg. active dry yeast
1 t. sugar
1 t. salt
1T. olive oil
2-3 cups all-purpose or whole-wheat flour

Putting it together:
You may use a stand mixer if you have one, or you can stir by hand. The mixer makes it easier to fully get everything stirred. Not as much muscle power!

The water should be luke warm, not hot but not cold. Test it on the inside of your wrist-just like testing a baby's bottle.

- Add yeast and stir.
- Add the sugar and salt and oil to water and stir well.
- Add flour in small amounts to bowl and stir.

Using your hands (or mixer) knead dough for 2-3 minutes on a lightly floured surface.

Shape into a nice ball and let rest for 30 minutes before using-this is the rise.

Roll out dough and place on a pizza pan or cookie sheet.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
